If you’ve never heard of the NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants), it’s an enormous 40,000-attendee annual conference in Anaheim, California that attracts everyone who is involved in making a music thing or providing a music service, January 25 to 28, 2024.
A really great part of NAMM is the comprehensive education schedule that is especially good for producers/engineers - hundreds of sessions hosted by NAMM itself or by exhibitors. You can play and learn about the newest technical innovations, but also expand your professional network with the best in the industry, especially as women in the audio space. Plus, amazing experiences like the She Rocks! Awards and TEC Awards.
This is what we mean by expanding professional development and export for women/non-binary producers and engineers - taking it to the real world and being in the rooms where it happens.
